The ecological and economic attitude towards purchasing bottled table water has long been a hot topic in Sweden.
High-quality drinking water is available on tap in every Swedish household and it was against the backdrop of these discussions that our Swedish subsidiary, AGA, scored an immediate success with its new home carbonation system.
It can be directly connected to household water supply, producing soda water on demand straight from the tap. We intend to launch this carbonation system across Scandinavia, doing our bit minimise the numbers of empty bottles per household that subsequently need to be chemically cleaned by manufacturers.
We, of course, supply the carbon dioxide for the bubbles. The household gadget turns normal tap water into a sparkling delight at the push of a button. Customers can also add specific flavours, thanks to a range of concentrates.
The carbon dioxide (CO2) used here must comply with the strictest quality standards. Linde’s food-grade CO2 is 99.9 percent pure and exclusively sourced from natural deposits. The CO2 cylinders are filled and handled under the strictest hygienic conditions.
A singe gas cylinder delivers around 40 litres of sparkling water – an extremely cost-efficient, eco-friendly and easy alternative to bottled water.
