Medical gases span an amazingly wide spectrum from anaesthesia to respiratory assistance.

People suffering from lung disease, for example, can rely on in-home respiratory assistance to significantly improve their quality of life. Gases can also relieve pain, accelerate the healing process and even save lives. Many medical breakthroughs would not have been possible without gases.

We have bundled all of our medical-related gas activities in the Healthcare Global Business Unit (GBU) within the Gases Division.

Over 3,000 people work for the Healthcare GBU across more than 50 countries. For more information on the Healthcare GBU, click here.
