In many countries, Linde helps secure the pension situation and living standard of its employees once they have retired with occupational pension programmes.
These form part of the total remuneration package and are another reason Linde is such an attractive employer.
The Group offers primary plans in more than 30 countries. These differ in form according to the social welfare systems and tax legislation in each country. Encouraging employees to take their own initiative is becoming increasingly important in occupational pension programmes.
Risk control and cost transparency must be factored into the long-term organisation of pension plans, especially in view of increasing life expectancy worldwide.
To ensure risk control and cost transparency Linde has set up a Global Pension Committee in 2008.
More detailed information is available in Linde’s Annual Report.
