Each year, we present the Patent and Innovation Award in two categories, recognising significant technical innovations and innovations carrying high monetary value or offering other market benefits. The winners are selected by a jury, headed by Executive Board member Dr. Aldo Belloni, which analyses and evaluates all patent proposals. In addition to receiving their award, the winners also become members of the Linde Group Inventors Club – an employee platform for the stimulating exchange of ideas and experiences worldwide.
The Linde Group Safety Award rewards our top performers in terms of occupational safety. This is based on the number of hours worked without time lost due to injury (LTI = Lost Time Injury) at the individual locations. Prizes are allocated in three categories: best individual site (Site Safety Award), best Group company (Company Safety Award) and most significant progress at a single location (Improvement Award).
