We support projects and initiatives close to our sites around the world, providing assistance in the form of donations and sponsorship and through employee involvement in community projects.

Our fields of focus
Education and science: Linde supports the education and training of qualified engineers and innovative research projects. Initiatives aimed at early childhood education in technology and natural science and projects for children with limited educational opportunities also build a focal area.
Health: Our commitment in the field of health aims, for instance, to improve the quality of caregiving, expand knowledge of diseases, offer information and training courses, and make the healthcare system more efficient. The focus of our commitment is on projects that allow us to apply our know-how in using medical gases.
Safety and environmental protection: Our commitment to safety and environmental protection enables us to pass our expertise on these subjects on to others and to support organisations that pursue goals similar to ours in these fields.
Social activities: Our commitment to social projects is based on individual social needs in the regions in which Linde is active.
Culture: We support selected cultural institutions. In doing so, we help make our business locations more appealing for both our employees and the general public.
The Group's Corporate Centre coordinates Linde's cross-regional activities, while local initiatives are organised on a decentralised basis by the individual regions. Depending on the region, we help our employees to get involved in volunteering by giving them time off work, providing financial assistance and by matching donations. Our corporate volunteering guideline provides our employees with all relevant information for their volunteering activities.
